How far in advance should I book my move?
We recommend booking at least 3–5 days in advance for standard moves. For large villas or end-of-month moves (which are busiest), booking 1–2 weeks ahead ensures you get your preferred date. We also offer same-day or next-day moves for urgent situations, just call us directly.
Do you provide packing materials?
Yes, all packing materials are provided by us. This includes carton boxes of all sizes, bubble wrap, stretch film, foam sheets, corner guards, wardrobe boxes, and specialised crates for fragile or high-value items like TVs, artwork, and mirrors. You don’t need to bring anything.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
Yes. KGN Movers & Packers is fully licensed and insured. In the rare event of any damage, our insurance coverage protects your belongings. We also take every precaution during packing and transport to ensure nothing is damaged in the first place.
Do you move between Abu Dhabi and Dubai?
Absolutely. We regularly handle inter-emirate moves between Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. Our team is experienced with long-distance relocations across the UAE and we handle the logistics so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
How is the final price calculated?
The final price is based on the size of your home, number of items, distance of the move, floor level (with or without elevator), and additional services required like dismantling or storage. We provide a detailed, fixed quote after the survey — no surprise charges on moving day.
Can you handle fragile items like antiques or pianos?
Yes. We have specialised packing techniques and custom crating for antiques, pianos, artwork, chandeliers, and other high-value or extra-fragile items. These are handled with extra care by dedicated team members trained specifically for delicate moves. Please mention these items when requesting your quote.
